” I have been a resident of Saskatoon, and have both lived and worked in Ward 9 for more than twenty years. I have always admired Bev Dubois . I have found her to be pragmatic, professional and progressive, with strong connections in the business community. She is a person of the highest integrity and you can depend on her word. This is why I support her re-election to city council.
As Lifestyle Director at Preston Park II Retirement Residence, I have had the opportunity to work closely with Bev on multiple occasions throughout the years. She frequently stops in to visit with our residents, which they greatly appreciate. She will always make herself available for our various events; whether it be presenting medals at our annual ASC Senior Games, attending our annual breast cancer fundraising event, taking our residents for a tour of city hall, or just stopping in to have fun and laugh with them.
Bev is friendly, tactful and diplomatic. She is easily accessible, either by phone, e-mail, or social media. She is a very giving, honest, trustworthy and dependable person, and works hard to sustain the connection between local government and local business, which affects the entire community in a positive manner. This she has shown through her years of service on local, provincial and national boards. . She is a strong believer in giving back to the community and has shown this through her work with the Salvation Army Advisory Board, the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame and Museum and the University of Saskatchewan, to name a few.
As a wife, mother and business person, she has life experiences that equate well to the challenges and aspirations of the people of our city. She has common sense and I admire how she tackles issues that arise. I can see that she works well with others and knows how to get things done. She’s passionate about the community and creating a city that keeps families working, playing, learning and living in harmony.
That experience combined with her insight of the needs, and desires of Ward 9 will allow the community to keep moving forward. She will continue to take Ward 9 to the next level and make us all proud of her leadership. I am looking forward to working with Bev further through the next term.
